New Music CD 3-pack
On the way home, just for the hell of it, I called in and asked Dick Rosetti when he was going to give the next 3-pack away. Well, he said how about right now?! So, I just won "Demon Days" by the Gorillaz, which is out now, "Get behind me Satan" by the White Stripes and "X&Y" by Coldplay, both of which will be released on June 7th.

Audioslave
Well, thanks to my friends at 107.7 The End, I went to another concert today. Actually, I did not only go to the sold out Audioslave concert (sold out in 3 minutes, was then moved to a bigger venue and the rest of the tickets sold out in seconds) but, I also got passes to get on their tourbus and listen to the new album "Out of Exile" in its entirety before it hits stores on May 24th, and met Brad and Tim as they came on the bus real quick and said hi to all 12 of us. The concert itself was one of the best shows I've ever been to! Definitely the best in the past few years. Not only was able to go see Audioslave, but because on this tour they've decided , since they've now proven themselves as a band that can stand on it's own, without having to rely on the crutches of Soundgarden and Rage Against The Machine, that they were going to play Rage and Soundgarden songs as well as their own stuff. So, on top of old Audioslave songs like "I am the Highway" "Cochise" and "Show me How to Live", and new songs like "Doesn't Remind me" "Be Yourself" and "Slowly Drowning", they played Soundgarden songs including "Rusty Cage" and "Black Hole Sun" as well as Rage songs like "Killing in the Name of" and "Sleep now in the Fire". And for good measure, during their encore, which Chris Cornell started off with a solo acoustic version of "Black Hole Sun", he threw in a Temple of the Dog song, the title of which escapes me at the moment. So in essence, I got to see three bands :Audioslave, Soundgarden and Rage Against The Machine!

Welcome to the Moshpit! Here I will discuss anything musical, from
