Endsession 107

Well, even though you're supposed to have a period of 30 days before you can win something again from a radio station, they didn't recognize my name so I won another set of tickets to an Endsession, this time #107 with Radio4 from New York.
I had the choice of going to #107 with Radio4 or #108 with the Kings of Leon. Since I had never heard of the Kings of Leon and I've heard a couple of songs by Radio4 on the radio, I decided to go see that one.

It was a great show. Their music is very bass oriented, which I like, and it was a good set. They played all new songs off their new album and mingled with the crowd (all 15 of us) afterwards and signed autographs. They seemed like really nice guys. I will definitely have to buy their album when I have the money!

Endsession 106

I won a couple of passes to Endsession 106 with the Bloodbrothers, a local band. I have never heard of the Bloodbrothers before but I'm not going to say no to a free concert (unless it's someone I can't stand, but since I don't know who they are I can't say that yet).
Endsessions are intimate jam sessions 107.7 the End puts on from time to time. When bands come and play in Seattle, the station sets up a small pre-show show for a handful of listeners who have won the tickets in the previous week.

The show was quite enjoyable, and I have since heard studio recordings of the band which I like very much. The set they played was very raw, and as much fun as it was, I don't think I could listen to a whole album that way. The recorded stuff has been produced very well and that I could listen to for a longer period of time!
